Win the Water War: Build Science for Mold Prevention

In this class, we’re going to talk about all the various ways that water can get into a home. For those of you who have been through it with mold, this may give you PTSD. I encourage you to take breaks as needed. And know that the reason I’m torturing you with all of the many ways that a house can get moldy is to then give you strategies for preventing that from happening. That is the purpose of this class. Along the way, I’ll introduce various scientific concepts. I’m not trying to torture you with physics. I promise. I’m just trying to explain why water, in its various forms, behaves the way it does, and what you can do about it.
